Acacia & Gavin's September Wedding at Chacewater Village Hall

Back in September, the beautiful Cornish light shone and we found ourselves travelling to the absolutely breaktaking village of Malpas to meet Acacia on the morning of her wedding. Our jaws fell as we took in the river scenery and the light twinkled in through the windows. We couldn't imagine a better place to wake up to on the morning of your wedding; what a view! Over the river with the little boats nestled in the banks or bobbing away. It was absolutely idyllic. I've known Acacia for quite a few years now and she is the sweetest and kindest person, I was absolutely balled over when she asked me to capture her marriage to her Gavin.
Fun fact about Acacia and I is that we also share a birthday! (Best day of the year to be born on in my opinion :P)
Here are some of the highlights for the day!  ***This shoot was edited in my "natural" finish
The photography/editing style was to be 'natural' and relaxed with emphasis on capturing the guests and memories as they unfurled.
Images shown taken on a NikonD610 and Fuji XT1 taken by a combination of myself and George.

They had two ceremonies - one at the Truro registry office and another before their friends and wider family at Chacewater village hall. We stopped via the beach (Perranporth) for a little detour and some family photos and Gavin surprised Acacia with a helicopter ride to their reception venue!
The weather was absolutely incredible and the sun shone throughout. For catering, they held a 'bring and share' as their family and friends had a large variety of dietary requirements. This meant that all the vegans, coeliacs and lacto-frees had a brilliant selection of food and weren't restricted and that everybody got to try something different. This is the first time I had ever been to a 'bring and share' and I think it's a wonderful idea! Everybody donates a plate of food what a brilliant notion.
They celebrated autumn in the traditional way with lots of sparklers and partied on late into the night.
